STORY
Chuquipalta coffee is an outstanding blend grown by 20 small-scalle coffee producers from the region of Cusco. Their farms are located through the highlands of the districts of Quelluono, Echarati, Santa Teresa and Santa Ana embracing and imposing view of the Peruvian Andes. The snowcapped peaks of Padreyok and Salcantay overlook and lay guard to this amazing and precious coffee plants growing with the extreme care of the farmers that produce it, who with such dedication make Chiquipalta coffee possible to ship worldwide and with amazing quality.
The name Chuquipalta is a direct reference to an archeological site and whose name in Quechua -native tongue- means precious metal (chuqui) and flat (p’allta), in sync with the quality of coffee grown by these farmers. A precious metal that has been achieved by hard working hands through generations offering an exquisite taste.
This coffee has floral notes, orange acidity, velvety body with a lasting aftertaste.
