El Jardin
STORY
Guatemala is a unique country for producing high-quality coffees with exquisite flavors. In Nahuatl, Guatemala means “place of many trees” and is known for its multicultural heritage, which is still present throughout the country with its traditions, customs, and economic activities, such as coffee cultivation, which began around 1850 and is an essential element of the country’s economy.
As the coffee spread of coffee throughout the country, farmers have grown a variety of traditional, exotic, and hybrid coffees, offering an unmatched diversity of profiles and quality. This is how the El Jardin, or The Garden blend, is created from the hidden treasures that our team of highly skilled quality analysts finds on every cupping table in the Huehuetenango, San Marcos, and Quetzaltenango departments. These coffees, which have delicate floral notes with a balanced, silky body, stand out in the blend. It takes detail and knowledge to find the subtle floral notes in these coffees.
El Jardin is therefore an exclusive blend created by identifying small batches that appear from time to time during cupping sessions at the origin. This bespoke blend has floral jasmine notes, bright acidity with a delicate and subtle body, quite the elegant profile!
