La Flor
STORY
The La Flor blend emerges from the hidden gems that we find on every cupping table. Coffees that display delicate floral notes with a balanced silky body and we now want these coffees to stand out on together. These lots are often found during the cupping session in Huehuetenango, Chiquimula, San Marcos and other regions in Guatemala. The La Flor is therefore an exclusive blend created by identifying small batches that appear from time to time during tasting sessions.
This coffee is grown on average at 1500 meters above sea level and comes especially from small and medium-sized farmers who are improving processes and quality through our Growers Education Program (PECA). The majority of these producers, behind El Jardín, have improved their drying infrastructure and integrated selective harvesting techniques. This bespoke blend has floral jasmine notes, bright acidity with a delicate and subtle body, quite the elegant profile!
