Los Moyanos
Around 50 small – scale producers
STORY
Los Moyanos is a coffee from around 50 small-scale producers from the municipality of Planadas in the department of Tolima. This place is special because it was ravaged and suffered a lot from the violence generated by the guerrilla, but the people have pushed forward to erase this stigma. Now a days, they are better known for their coffee, and it has become an important hub for agriculture in the region.
It’s a land of exuberance and beautiful scenery. In general, the department of Tolima is full of water sources and Planadas has no shortage, hence the name of the blend. Los Moyanos references a very important water source near the town where young people and families tend to gather and share a beautiful afternoon. It is a place where many friendships flourished, adventures were lived and anecdotes formed, just as this coffee will do for you.
“Los Moyanos is balanced coffee between its citric acidity and sweetness. It has notes of chocolate and almonds.
