Nueva Esperanza

STORY

In the district of Chirinos, located in the province of San Ignacio, you’ll find a caserio by the name Nueva Esperanza. It is quite new history wise and was founded by people who came from the provinces of Chota, Cutervo and Piura who were looking for a better future. When they arrived at the area they founded Nueva Esperanza, in english New Hope, as this was for them and their families a new beginning and better opportunities. When they arrived, there was already an important culture of coffee in the region, being the main economic activity. The microclimates, soil and forests such as Chinchiquilla with their biodiversity. From the beginning this group of people haven taking care of the environment protecting the water sources and natural resources. Coffee has been the key element of helping them move forward with resilience and drive, finding prosperity, hence the name of the brand Nueva Esperanza.

This brand began in 2022 with 19 producers contributing, but they have been accompanied and guided by the PECA educator since 2019 and the quality analyst to be able to produce good quality coffee.
