Edy José Martinez has been related to coffee since he has a memory. His family has always been dedicated to the production of coffee and this product has been the family’s main economic resource for many years. Throughout the years, coffee has become a big part of Edy’s life. Edy has been producing coffee on his own since 2006 but only two years ago, with the assistance of Caravela, he started producing specialty coffee, taking very special attention to detail to each of his processes. The production of specialty coffee for Edy results in giving his family a better quality of life and the opportunity for him to learn where his coffee ends after going through its supply chain.

Edy is full of pride and very happy to know that all his efforts and dedication is reflected in a cup of coffee that many people around is able to enjoy. Specialty coffee has totally changed Edy’s vision and idea about the product. “In coffee, there is nothing written, coffee can give you big surprises, in my case it gave me a positive and great surprise.” says Edy. And that was exactly what happen when Edy started producing specialty coffee, it gave him a huge surprise to know that his coffee had delicious flavor and aroma.
