The first 100 coffee trees that Nabor Antonio owned were a gift from his father, who was also a coffee producer when he was just a kid. Since then, he not only started to receive his own incomes, but he started gaining passion for coffee. These 100 trees were the beginning of his more than 60-year life in coffee. Today, with one of his 7 sons and his wife, Nabor manages Finca El Cedro, where they grow mainly Caturra. They work together to produce better coffee every day. About 10 years ago, Nabor started to produce specialty coffee and started to receive an extra income and a recognition for his product. Since then, he can say that Caravela Coffee has been a good partner for his specialty coffee project, that they value his efforts and hard work with prices, education and recognition. This has helped him to improve the quality of his coffee, have a better structure of his farm, and most importantly, o er his family a better quality of life.

Nabor’s plan for the short-term is to expand his drying infrastructure and renovate his wet-milling infrastructure. While his not working on the farm activities, Nabor likes to spend time with his family and meet new places inside the country. When he works on the farm activities, he can say that he is constantly making huge efforts to offer consumers around the work a high-quality product.
